Smart cars just ask for great design.  This was our in-house work car and we wanted to have fun.  Based on our victorian organic branding we wanted it to feel like a high quality handbag.

 

Any piece of design seen from distance requires three elements of viewing. To be able to recognised it from a distance (strong red/orange car with bold logo). To see detail as you come closer (the victorian organic pattern and hidden graphics), and a reward for getting closeup (finely detailed analogue weathering, giving it some depth).  We also cheated with some airbrushed shading to accentuate some of the great design elements on the car body.
